Lany and I were in Denver for a wedding and got up relatively early to go try out a local lake. And Big 5 opened 2 hours later than their voice message says.

Lany hooked onto one right off the bat. We were seeing fish everywhere and I thought it was on.
Boom!
I had an old school rod that I borrowed from Lany's Mom. And it broke while casting.
I made sure Lany rowed the whole time, so that my arms would stay fresh.
Quincy has the state record tiger muskie, we didn't see any and I got skunked for my first time in 2 years...
