MEMORIAL WEEKEND AT ISABELLA DAY TWO

It's good luck to start the day off with a bass mug full of coffee.

We started the day half an hour eariler on day two. Got on the water 5:20am.

My Dad smokin, while my Uncle Dave (owner of the bass boat) and Mike still groggy.

If you didn't know any better, you'd think that I thought catching the first fish of the morning is the worst thing of all bad things ever.

This would have been Mike's first fish of the weekend, if it hadn't spit his hook during this jump.
Mike pulling us to this tree to get his lizard out.

We watched a show the night before about animal fights. Then we see these mallards going at it over some broad.

Mike finally set things straight.

I looked to have warmed up to catching fish by this time.

Blake just laid right down and took a nap.

My Dad fighting one.

My Uncle Dave taught me how to fish.

My Dad repping the Lakers and Ashbury.

Look how shiny these gold fish are!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND AT ISABELLA DAY ONE

Early on one of our Lake Isabella hotspots.

Mi padre getting things started.

There we go!

Bass Wassup. Feelin good about that Skunk Insurance.

If I had a fish tank, I would have kept this one.

My Dad with another one. At this point, Mike is starting to worry (as he should be) about getting skunked.

Yesir.

We came back for some lunch and my cousin Mathew was still catching some last minute Z's.

Being Memorial Day Weekend, it was sorta hectic. The patrolmen got this guy though.

PARTY!

Hello heli.

Levi caught one in the wind. Whenver Levi catches a fish, he just puts his rod down and chills for the rest of the day.

When we walked off the dock, there was a white trash car show going on.

Mathew went out later the the evening and caught himself some dinner.

LAKE SKINNER = BUNK

Lake Skinner was a bust. Mike caught one right away though, so deceiving.

Temecula is big on hot air balloons?

More deception.

This sign was a lie.

This photo does however speak the truth about Skinner.

Awwwww...

I think all the bass were hiding deep in these reeds.

Mike went on bragging and bragging about this fish. It went on for hours.

Mi Padre's skunk insurance.

This was my biggest catch of the day.

I loved that jerkbait.

FARMERS TAN?

This is what happens when you wear a sweatshirt everyday fishing. I thought I was saving myself from a farmers tan, instead I just go this stupid tan line.

MACINTOSH HARD DRIVE GOLD

My computer started getting slow, so I moved some files to my hard drive and deleted a bunch of stuff. And look what I found! Pre-BassWassup! This was a few years ago ay Lake Isabella.

IRVINE LAKE: BANES' LAST STAND

Mike making decisions.

Look how decisive he was!

One day.

Kenny laughing at that guy on the boat with no friends. Today was Banes' last day (most likely) to fish before going to New Mexico for 5 months.

Mike pops it off. Must have been that doughnut.

Banes with a jumper.

Cha-ching. Insured.

Sushi.

L U V

This is our new Bass Wassup gang sign.

Kenny getting amorous.

I started firing them off!

The fight.

Mike with some faux encouragement.

The Phoenix Suns.

Vultures.

Banes with another jumper.

Fatty.

Kenny follows Banes up.

Mike with the ol' bass up close trick.

Bees in the middle of the lake?

Mike caught a spider on board.

Thank you. Although I'm getting a farmer's tan on my wrists.

Banes is a style investor.

Bass Wassup.
