High Hopes
Saturday we hit up lake Perris. It turned into a Tanning Tournament, 3rd degree sunburns and swigs of fireball whiskey to kill the pain... One bass, ten anglers.

LAKE PERRIS IN THE COLD
Banes and I went out to Lake Perris yesterday. It was gonna be a little cold, but bass fishing had been picking up with the warmth and it's President's Day, so why not. We wanted to do a little early AM Del, but the drive thru was the only thing open and with the boat, that wouldn't fly... insert sad emoji here.
So we went to McDonalds. I hate McDonalds breakfast, but look how easy it is to find your number.

The birds do a pretty good job of marking their territory on the dock.

Then it slowed down. So I had to shoot a pretty unspectacular landscape photo to keep things a little interesting.

It was my first time using my polarized Crenshaws, pretty tight huh. Go to Ashbury to pick some up!
I got another, slightly nice bass.

Lake Cuyamaca
Headed up to do some late fall bassin'. Every time I made a cast Bronco would go nuts. I think he wanted to troll for trout. He was much calmer when we were cruising around the lake. Caught a keeper at the end of the day. He cooked up nicely.
