             Ladies and Gents, i give you... Captain Banes (on his own bass boat)!

 Now that we have a couple of brand new bass boats in BassWassup, things just look better.

 Banes and i have been talking about the Alabama Rig lately, so Banes went out and got it.

 Are you ready to catch three bass at once? Can you handle that action? Banes can.

                We spotted a bird in the distance that was having a hard time taking off.

Come to find out, he had a bunch of fishing line wrapped around his neck. The dude was stuck.

We got close enough to get him on the boat to try and help him out. Banes trying to find the line.

   Banes got him all unwrapped. You could tell he was very happy after we helped him.

                                     Just another day of saving lives on bass boat #1.

   We wanted to try out the live well, so we put this guy in there. He didn't like it much, so we let him out after about 10 seconds. He was trying to commit suicide in there.

                           There she is! It was a crazy experience for me being on this boat.

             Getting my first fish of the year was such a good feeling. I got 6 on my first day.

                        Like i said, these aren't in order. This was actually the first fish of the day.

PERRIS AGAIN

Lance, being the nervous type, couldn't make it Saturday. Stiff competition.

Anyways, we got a late start and I luckily pulled this bad boy out pretty early.

Getting your skunk insurance is always stressful. We had a rough time figuring out what the bass where doing, so it took a while for my Dad to get his.

Weekday Bassin'

I wanted to go to El Capitan. When I got there the gates were closed, so I decided to try Lake Cuyamaca which is not far from my house, but it's up in the mountains. I was greeted to some snow on the way up.
First time launching the boat by myself, it went well. The sucky thing was that I was wearing flip flops and got skunked.

The next day El Capitan was open!

Got me a pretty one!

This one had a crawdad coming up. You can kinda see it. I hurried up and threw her back in so that see could finish it off.

Behold the dreaded Quagga Mussel... Apparently El Capitan has a problem with these bad boys.

Everyone's getting the bug early this year. Lany catching her first of the year at Big Bear Lake. She needs to get out on the bassboat and catch some bass here soon.

Following in the footstep of Uncle Mike, I also made an endeavor of my own. Art from Anglers Marine in Lakeside, hooked it up!

I was worried it would fit in the garage, but it did…Baby Bronco's sitting pretty, eyeballing my slice of pizza.

We went out to my home lake El Cap. to break the motor in and managed to christen the boat with this little bass.

Here I am on the lake in my own bass boat. It still doesn't seem real. Wooo!

There's Tiff Tiff hanging out on the stern. What is she doing? I never know what that crazy girl is doing.

LAKE PERRIS: MINE AND MIKE'S FIRST TIME ON THE NEW BASSBOAT

 

Mike and I finally got to test out the bass boat. It feels good to wake up at the crack of dawn and get out there.

 

I don't know if you can see it. But there is a dude in a bassboat back in those bushes, no clue how he got there.

 

Mike and my Dad had some troubles at the start.

 

My first fish of 2012, bass wassup.

 

I took a little action photo of my next bass. It was a little risky, I don't want to go farmin' bass. But I couldn't count on anyone else to catch fish and it's always nice to have an action photo on here.

 

This one was a little nicer than my first.
