FIRST FALL AT PERRIS

Kenny rallied Mike and I to go fishing a few days ago. So we got up before the crack of dawn to make it to Perris when the gates open at 6am.

 

When we got there, we found out that starting today, the marina opens at 7am.

 Mike and Kenny ro shaming to see who has to drive the boat first. Kenny won.

 I'm checkin' my gear.

Kenny had an art shot of his own. If you look closely, you can see the Ashbury logo reflecting on his screen.

Kenny got it poppin right off the bat.

I followed suit. Today most of them were little baby backs.

I finally caught a nicer one.

Mike finally got his skunk insurance. He got lucky, not only was it pretty nice, it was his only one.

I took a funny photo of Mike that pissed him off. Being a relatively nice brother, I didn't post it. But Kenny and I gave each other a high five over it.

Things slowed down real fast once it got hot. I ended up catching another bringing my total to a number 1 spot of 6 bass. We were only on the boat for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

Topwater Action!

Went to lake Santee for some fall bass fishing

Caught a couple bass on a topwater lure, it's been awhile!

LAKE HOLLYWOOD: MISSION FAILED

Lany and I found out that there is a little reservoir in Hollywood. So we decided to take a stab at it. Hollywood is SERIOUS about keeping you out, we had to climb over multiple super tall barbed wire fences and the biggest surprise was the spider guards they installed.

We found a better spot.

 

The first fence was just to get to the road. This second way higher fence was to get to the lake. Lany tried it barefoot.

When we finally made it in, we walked halfway across the lake try to find a way down to the lake. It's like 100 feet down from the fence. And there was literally no way down.

We didn't even get close to the water. Hollywood stumped us. But we'll be back. We're gonna scope during the day and figure it out. Updates soon.
